Uccio De Santis, born Gennaro De Santis (Bari, 12 September ), is an Italian actor,comedian and stand-up comedian

Biography

Passionate about entertainment since he was a child, when he acted in numerous shows at the parish level, he began his career as a comedian by making comedy shows around Puglia.[1] It has been known nationally since thanks to its participation in the sixth edition of the program La sai l'ultima? on Canale 5 with Gerry Scotti and Natalia Estrada. He is recalled with the same cast also for subsequent editions: in , for the eighth edition presented by Natalia Estrada and by Gigi Sabani and in for the ninth edition conducted by Ezio Greggio.

In he performed in the Summer Festival, which involves citizens and the public who came to Bari for the XIII Mediterranean Games. It has been known nationally since thanks to its participation in the sixth edition of the program "La sai l'ultima?" on Canale 5 with Gerry Scotti and Natalia Estrada. He is recalled with the same cast also for the subsequent edition and finally in for the eighth edition presented by the same Estrada and by Gigi Sabani.[2]

In he gave life to Mudù, the television sitcom broadcast on Telenorba in which he tells jokes in small short films. In , with Antonio Andrisani, he made the film "Natale con chi vuoi" (Christmas with whoever you want) - consisting of six episodes - which also featured Dante Marmone and in he starred in the film Non me lo dire, a title that takes up the theme of a Mudù theme song and recalls that of the film of , with Macario and Tino Scotti. In he participated with his colleague Antonella Genga in an episode of the Applause program interviewed by Gigi Marzullo.[4]

In he also starred in an episode of the fiction Rex, broadcast on Rai 2, while in he appeared in the first episode of the tenth season of Un medico in famiglia..

He has often been a guest on Rai 1 television broadcasts, such as La vita in ricerca, Italian stories and I soliti ignoti.

In the season he joins the cast of the successful Rai 2 program Made in Sud.

Private life

Married to Antonella Genga, he has two daughters named Simona and Roberta.[5][6]
